Features and Performance
The Ceado E37R dispenses grinds at a rate of 3 grams per second thanks to its powerful motor and 64mm burrs. Grounds are kept clump free by a little flap integrated into the coffee chute, for wonderfully even particle distribution in the portafilter. For hands free grinding, the E37R will hold on to your portafilter while grinding so you don’t have to. With the touchscreen display, you can select between single, double, and manual doses with just a touch.
One feature we think is leaps and bounds above the competition is Ceado’s Steady Lock Burr Technology. This design keeps the burrs at a constant distance apart from one another, whether they’re grinding for one shot or one hundred. With easy access to the burrs and the anti-clogging system, maintenance is quick and easy. Thanks to the design of the grinding chamber, there’s no need to recalibrate when cleaning.

I bought a manual grinder, which performs much better than I expected. It was a bit of a booger to dial in initially, but once that was done, it performed well and consistently. I only drink espresso, so it won’t be necessary for me to change grind settings significantly in future. It takes me 30 seconds to grind 18g of light roast coffee and a few seconds more to deal with oily beans.Great for improving upper body strength on one side too!
I would recommend this for a light user who doesn’t want to splash out on an expensive electric model. It would also be good if you want to run a one-off shot e.g.with Decaf without having to empty the hopper or as a portable grinder for a traveller or as a perfectly good standby if your regular grinder packs up.
